But, by definition, weird sounds more like a compliment.... "of strange or extraordinary character : odd, fantastic". Much better than "same", I think! When I am able to step back, I can detach myself from their comment and realize it's really a reflection of their internal state, having little to do with me. I hadn't really considered turning that sort of focus on my own vocabulary, so thanks for that! I'll be curious to see what I am saying.
